This hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet part of the city, yet still close enough to the beach and Malia center. The attention to detail and value for money are outstanding. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The rooms, complete with kitchenettes, are well-equipped and spacious.

We were made to feel so welcome by Sula and the rest of her family in this friendly family run hotel. She even invited us to her family barbecue by the pool on Easter Sunday! I couldn't rate our experience more highly, other than the weather wasn't as good as we'd hoped. No guarantees until May!

I had an awesome holiday at this hotel. The double sunbeds by the pool were the best place to chill and enjoy the sun. Also, the location was perfect - a short walk to the beach and the supermarket nearby was really convenient. The rooms were very clean and the air conditioning kept us cool all day long. The staff was kind and helpful, always willing to give advice on where to go and what to do in the area.

The bathroom was quite small, which made it difficult to move around in. Also, the shallow pool for kids was not big enough, which could be an issue for families with children. Finally, while the breakfast was tasty, there could have been more variety for a 4-star hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and fun vacation!

Our stay at Socrates Hotel Malia Beach was absolutely perfect. The hotel had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with no loud music or crowded sunbeds. The staff, especially Sophia, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were spacious and clean, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was well-maintained and we never had trouble finding a sunbed. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel's location was also excellent, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.

We loved this hotel! It was located in a quiet area close to the beach and old town. The staff was friendly and the hotel facilities, including the pool area and bar, were excellent. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the free towels for the pool and beach.

We recently stayed at a hotel for Christmas and the experience was fantastic. The breakfast spread was excellent, with various options to choose from like cereals, fresh fruits, and home-made juices. The hotel had a key location as it was within walking distance of the beach and shops. Plus, we enjoyed playing billiards in the hotel's recreation area.

We faced a few issues. The pillows were a bit too hard for our liking and we had trouble sleeping.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the beach and many great restaurants, including one of Greece's best - AVLI RESTAURANT. The area is bustling with activity and everything is within easy reach. Rooms are clean with good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and excellent massage services. The garden and pool areas are well-maintained and offer breathtaking views.

Although noise is not an issue within the hotel premises, guests should be aware that the surrounding neighborhood might be rowdy and noisy at certain times of the day.
